It may just look like a gear knob, but even this lowly part takes hours of design time to get right as it is one of the important "interfaces" the driver has with the car, so it has to feel right, look right and most importantly function right. To aid the feel of the lever across the gate as you move the gearstick we have "weighted" the part on purpose (156g), the diameter and overall size all tweaked to make the process natural in execution. Length 56mm, dia 40mm, weight 156g, machined from 6082 T6 and vapor blasted to add a little texture to the surface. Anodized Black and engraved with traditional shift pattern.
