Specially converted Hitachi starter for 107 tooth pre-Verto flywheel. Replaces the clunky inertia starter. Features on board solenoid, and has a thicker mounting flange that avoids a weak point in other gear reduction starters, also has 3rd bearing support to eliminate flexing when engaged. Twice as powerful so they run faster and start the engine regardless of temperature or compression. Draws about half the current of the original starter putting less strain on the battery and electrical system.
